The Breadmaker on Rosemount Viaduct Aberdeen is a commercially focused social enterprise Artisan Bakery & Coffee House, hand crafting breads and confectionery. We use the the highest quality local suppliers to deliver some of the freshest and innovated hand made produce in the North East. The enterprise was wholly set up to provide meaningful training, educational and social activities to adults with learning disabilities who are excluded from mainstream society. Our apprenticeship scheme works with up to 28 Adults with a learning disability at any one time.

"Four friends and I decided to meet up for a coffee and sandwich, what better place to go to than the ''Breadmaker'', beside the Denburn Health Centre and only 5/10 minute walk from Union Street. You can sit in or have a coffee outside, the fancy cakes are outstanding - we decided to have soup and a sandwich. The soup is excellent and the selection of bread and rolls for your sandwich are really scrumptious. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you will find the prices are very reasonable. You also can buy fresh bread and rolls along with cakes and gluten-free products. The café is open Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 4pm. If you go online you can see the different menu' or look at the blackboard inside the café along with the specials on offer. The scones are huge along with the muffins or try a slice of the strawberry cake - yummy. They also do mini quiches. The purpose of this business is to support people with educational and social activities for adults with learning disabilities who are excluded from mainstream society.
