The City of Aberdeen Distillery & Gin School is the first legal distillery in Aberdeen for 80 years. It is an operational distillery, home to the Aberdeen Gin School and is open to visitors all year round. It is owned and run by two friends and is situated in the heart of the city, within a historic railway arch where true small batch Aberdeen Gins are designed and distilled. Those who visit are invited to sample from the demi-johns (fill a bottle), enjoy a Distillery Tour, Gin Tasting Masterclass or even distil their very own 70cl bottle of gin at the Gin School Experience.

We went for the discovery tour, upon arrival you get a double (their own ‘Fresh’) gin & tonic which didn’t last very long. Interesting history of gin making in Aberdeen. Very friendly hosts and good fun. We’ll be back for the gin school 👍
